That’s a good question, and the answer is YES. If you done properly or with a quality colon cleansing product, then I would say colon cleansing is safe.
Colon cleansing is the process of introducing gentle jets of water into the large intestine for washing away waste matter and toxins. However, the process of eliminating toxins can cause some minor intestinal problems. Once the mucous buildup begins to leave the body, minute amounts may be reabsorbed along the way. The toxin absorption can result in cold or flue like symptoms (which may include nausea, headaches, and dizziness) but will ultimately reverse itself once the outflow diminishes. In fact, getting rid of all that toxic debris can lead to increased energy, mental clarity, and overall feelings of wellbeing.
There are many techniques involved in colon cleansing. You can get an enema or colonics, hydrotherapy session. However, I would not recommend those to you.
Enemas were the old-fashioned answer to the colon cleansing dilemma. Unfortunately, enemas are also to blame for many concerns over colon cleansing safety. Enemas differ from bowel irrigation in their value; enemas typically cleanse only the lower 20% of the colon. With roughly eighty percent of the large intestine left untreated by an enema.
Colon Hydrotherapy, also known as colonic irrigation is not for the faint of heart. This treatment involves inserting a tube into the rectum and flushing out the colon with purified water sometimes mixed with minerals. This process is repeated several times for maximum effect, often passing 2-4 gallons of water through the colon and can last 1–2 hours. First timers should stay away from this.
There are also many colon cleansers you can take. Each have their strength’s and weaknesses. I prefer Bowtrol, it is herbal based colon cleansing product. Herbs found in nature are gentle to your body and can be powerful ingredients to not only flush out toxins but also eliminate deadly worms and parasites. You can feel a noticeable difference within a few days using bowtrol, and I don’t ever get headaches or cramps from it. I have tried a few other kinds like colonix, dual action that were not right for me, I am prone to constipation.
But, you need to figure out which one’s best for you. Do some research online and don’t settle for the first product. Research ‘colon cleansing’ and the answer will come. Once you do a cleansing. You will be feeling great in no time.
