There are so many different colon cleansers on the market right now, it’s hard for consumers to find out which colon cleansing product is the best for them. Even fewer products have adequate independent customer feedback to validate the company’s claims. Every company likes to say they have the best and easiest colon cleansing program, but at the end the real measure of the effectiveness and safety of a product comes from what actual customers are reporting.
So, we have decided to analyze each over the counter colon cleanser based on price, customer feedbacks, guarantee, ingredients and side effects associated with the use of each product. Based on these categories, we will give you, the consumer a "road-map" to colon cleansing in hopes that you will choose the most effective and beneficial product.
Rather than list and review every product on the market, we thought it would be easier just to list and review the top 4 natural colon cleansers that we could find. (we didn’t bother to list the products that didn’t make the list).
#1. Bowtrol
Our Overall Rating: 
Bowtrol is our top choice among colon cleanse treatments. It is very effective, works quickly, has safe ingredients, and is reasonably priced. This product really does appear to work and quite dramatically for some.
Bowtrol has a simple colon cleansing program. When it comes to Herbal colon cleansers, most Herbal Colon Cleansers require you to mix teas and fiber shakes. Bowtrol only requires you to take a certain amount of capsules during the day.
#2. Oxy Powder
Our Overall Rating: 
Oxy-Powder is different from the other products reviewed here. Since its main ingredient is a magnesium compound, it worksby liquefying the stool, rather than acting as a bulking agent and a scrub in the colon as do products containing psyllium. The company behind the product is a solid company that has been around for years. Oxy-Powder is an important player on the colon cleansing market, but in our opinion doesn’t have the sustained, long-term cleansing effects of more comprehensive herbal formulas.
#3. Colonix
Our Overall Rating: 
Although Colonix is the current leader in the Colon Cleansing market, we feel that it is too complicated and ‘life-altering’ for a first-time colon cleanser. Why should you "jump through all of these hoops," when there are simpler products out there that are more effective.
#4. Énuvia
Our Overall Rating:
The Énuvia cleansing program consists of taking two tablets a day. The use of tablets is also a concern. Tablets are not as effective as capsules, because they are harder to absorb. The process of manufacturing the tablets kills alot of the nutrients in the tablet.
I tried Dr. Natura and it did not work well for me. I stayed on it for about 3 1/2 weeks and I never saw any progress. I’ve always been regular and do my #2 every day, but Dr. Natura just seemed to make me release a little more, but I just didn’t see any miraculous things happen. I am going to try Bowtrol and hopefully it will work for me. I’m miserable with my weight and I just can’t seem to get motivated enough to start exercising. I’ll let you guys know if Bowtrol works for me.
